The Explorer socket - light and breathable
A lightweight and airy 3D printed prosthetic socket that is adapted to your arm geometry by a time-saving measurement. Thanks to the lacing system, an excellent fit is achieved on the arm, while the rotationally symmetrical design remains easily customisable.

Three relevant advantages

Lightweight
Due to the light weight and breathability, the system has a high level of comfort. At < 300 g, the Explorer System is much lighter than conventional products. The weight of one module is between 75 g and 120 g, depending on the configuration.

Cost efficient
By using design automation and 3D-printed products, a system is offered that is cost-effective. At the same time, the time required is optimised as a simplified measurement is made possible.

Modular
Always discover new activities with the same system and adapt it to individual needs. The coupling mechanism makes the system flexible to use.
Information for Specialists
With the Explorer System, the measurement is done with the help of photos or scans. This not only saves time, but also makes the process more pleasant for the user. Please consider that the socket is classified as a custom-made device and is always assembled by you as a specialist.

Reliable cost planning
The automation of the 3D model and the optimised use of materials for the socket production enable a reliable cost planning. Thanks to standardised process steps, the risk of subsequent adjustments is low.

CE-marked accessory
The modules are accessories of a prosthesis socket and CE-marked. Production and risk management are carried out within the framework of the MDR specifications and ISO 13485.

Flexbile applicable
The modules are equipped with an M12 x 1.5 or 1/2-20'' screw thread. This means that the modules can also be used as accessories independently of the Explorer socket, provided that compatibility is given.
The Explorer System
A new way to configure a forearm prosthesis and use it for a wide range of activities - applicable for children and adults.
