Three relevant advantages
Lightweight
The system offers a high level of comfort due to its low weight and pleasant surface texture. The modules weigh between 75 g and 165 g, depending on the module type and configuration.
User friendly
User friendliness and aesthetics play an important role in the Explorer modules so that you can enjoy your activities with joy and ease.
Cost efficient
The modules are designed to be configured and manufactured in a resource-efficient way. This makes it easier to use the same system with multiple modules.
In which configurations is the module available
The Ball Module is available in two sizes, with and without spacer and with metric (12x1.5) and inch (1/2-20'') threads.
Available sizes
The Ball Module is available in the sizes 'small' and 'standard'. The 'small' size is generally recommended for smaller hands. Have a look at the Quick Guide to learn more.
go to Quick GuideLength compensation (Spacer)
Whether a spacer is recommended depends on the difference in length between the two arms. This data is collected during the measurement.

With the Explorer System, the measurement is done with the help of photos or scans. This not only saves time, but also makes the process more pleasant for the user.
Reliable cost planning
The automation of the 3D model and the optimised use of materials for the socket production enable a reliable cost planning. Thanks to standardised process steps, the risk of subsequent adjustments is low.
CE-marked accessory
The modules are accessories of a prosthesis socket and CE-marked. Production and risk management are carried out within the framework of the MDR specifications and ISO 13485.
Flexbile applicable
The modules are equipped with an M12 x 1.5 or 1/2-20'' screw thread. This means that the modules can also be used as accessories independently of the Explorer socket, provided that compatibility is given.
