Bars, handles, ropes and straps all have to stay fixed in your grip while you pull or press against real load, and if one side can't hold, the exercise goes uneven. When the grip on one side isn't secure, that's often the one thing keeping someone out of the gym. The right aid keeps the equipment held on both sides, so your focus can stay on the lift. Lynk Modules
How Lynk Modules Support This Activity
The Lynk System provides orthotic support when grip function is unreliable. The base encases the forearm and provides a secure attachment point for the selected module in the form of a lightweight orthosis. For fitness activities, the system can be used with either the Clic Lock Module or the Hook Module.
The Clic Lock Module can be quickly attached to and detached from a compatible Clic head fitted to a bar, handle, or other suitable piece of fitness equipment. Different Clic heads allow for various rotational movements and shapes, enabling the system to be adapted to different types of equipment and exercise positions. The Lock version provides additional security and is designed to remain securely connected during exercises involving higher loads. The rotation can be adjusted to align the grip to the required angle. Different Clic Lamellas can be selected to adjust the required release force to suit the specific application. This ensures the connection remains secure when pulling, pressing or stabilising equipment, and can be released precisely when needed. The Hook Module holds bars, handles, ropes and straps without the need for an active grip. The curved hook section encloses the equipment and supports pulling movements, including exercises involving higher loads. An overlapping platform at the opposite end of the hook can be used to apply additional pushing force. The module is placed around the handle or bar of the fitness equipment and can be easily removed by gently rotating and pulling it away. Both modules are designed for ease of use and can be quickly attached to and detached from the orthosis. By holding the equipment securely on the affected side, movements can be performed more evenly and symmetrically, helping to distribute the load more consistently across the body.

How Explorer Modules Support This Activity
The Explorer System is designed for fitting prosthetics to the forearm in adults. This lightweight system, which is 3D-printed, consists of a socket, an Explorer Ring to connect the components, and a module for the relevant activity. The Twin Module and Bike Module cover a wide range of exercises and equipment for fitness activities. The Twin Module can be attached to a bar, handle, rope or strap and is ideal for movements involving pulling or pushing forces. Training equipment is placed in the module by pressing it onto a bar or handle by hand, which allows the helix grippers to securely enclose it. The angle of the Twin Module joint can be adjusted using the slide button. The joint can then be released, moved into the required position, and fixed securely at the desired angle, enabling the attachment to follow the direction of the exercise. The Bike Module can be attached to bars and handles where rotation is required during movement. Its orientation can be adjusted to suit the position of the equipment. The module can be unlocked, aligned and securely locked back into place using the slide control. Both modules can be easily attached to and detached from the socket to help keep the equipment in a defined position. This enables more consistent load transfer and repetition of the same movement each time. The modules are available in two sizes and can be configured with or without length compensation using an integrated spacer. When the equipment is held securely on both sides, more even and symmetrical movements are supported during exercise. It also ensures that the load is distributed evenly across the body, rather than placing excessive strain on one arm.
