My situation and needs

With the Lynk System and the Push Module, I was able to walk safely with crutches during rehabilitation. The system took some of the weight off my arm and relieved pressure on my hand and wrist. This allowed me to walk for about ten minutes with only slight pain. It gave me a lot of freedom, enabling me to participate more actively in therapy and better support my knee's recovery.

How I experience activities differently now

In 2022, a friend told me about macu4. She was using a prosthesis from the Explorer system and thought that this system might also be suitable for me. I then contacted macu4. Together, we adapted the Explorer system to my needs—even though I still have my hand. This collaboration resulted in the Lynk system. I have been using it ever since with great satisfaction. Since then, I have been able to walk at school without a wheelchair. I can move more freely and have regained a lot of independence as a result. I also use the system at the gym. It supports me during my training. This allows me to exercise more evenly and improve the strength in my left arm. Regeneration is also easier for me.

My experience after 2 months of use

I used the Lynk system every day. The ready-made sizes allowed for quick adjustment and temporary care. For me, the system meant above all security, relief, and independence. It helped me to participate more actively in rehabilitation and to organize my everyday life independently despite my limitations.

What is the Lynk System?

This modular and functional orthosis was developed for people who have limited grip function or need to protect their wrist. It is particularly helpful that it is very easy to use—the magnetic closure makes it easy to put on and take off. In addition, the orthosis is very light, weighing less than 250 grams. Furthermore, both professionals and users can use the aid very flexibly. Thanks to the standard sizes, the system is available immediately. If necessary, it can also be offered as a custom-made product.
