Base component
The base is the fundamental component that serves as the primary structure for the system. Modules (terminal devices) and other accessories can be attached to this part.
CuffThe cuff is available in 10 sizes. Choose between two circumference variants (SML / MED) and 5 sizes for length compensation. Size selection is done by manual measurements.
SocketPersonalized based on rotationally symmetric design. Configuration is done using photos. Any necessary length compensation is achieved directly using modular click-on spacers.
Exchangeable Modules
The modules are terminal devices and are selected according to the required activity. They are connected to the base directly or using additional accessories.
RollUsed like a roller - roll over surfaces or work with materials such as sand, modeling clay, and similar materials.
ShovelUse it like a shovel. In the garden or on the playground. It can also be used playfully as a shovel in the playroom.
ClampUse it to clamp smaller and lighter objects between the module clamp. Holding flatter and lighter materials.
HoldThis module allows items such as cutlery to be secured without the need for Velcro. It is also optimized for one-handed operation.
Clic HeadsUse the Lynk Clic head (STD or Lock) in 3 rotation variants. Attach to the handlebar of a scooter, tricycle, or bicycle.
Additional accessories
Additional accessories are selected depending on the product configuration. The products are designed to be compatible with the modules or other accessories in the system.
Module ConnectorThe module connector is available in a standard size. It is used together with the Lumo shaft—with or without spacers. The modules are clicked onto it.
SpacerThe spacer is available in 5 standard sizes. It is used to compensate for length differences and is connected between the shaft and the module connector.
InterfaceThe interface is the connecting component between the self-made shaft and the Lumo accessory. It is laminated in.
Information for professionals
The macu4 systems were developed for people who have a forearm deficit, limited grip function or need to protect their wrist. They are particularly helpful because they are very easy to use – the magnetic closure and lacing system make them easy to put on and take off. In addition, the 3D-printed products are very lightweight.
